League wide points of emphasis:
For the kids, we stress 4 things to which we ask you to review:
-
Have fun
-
Play hard
-
Show sportsmanship
-
Listen (to coaches, helpers and refs)
For the parents, this year, our points of emphasis for our parents are:
-
Arrive early. The listed time is the tip off time, so please come early to your sessions. It keeps things organized and makes for a better experience for your child.
-
Communicate with your coaches. Specifically, if your child is coming or not. The coaches work extremely hard to organize the practices and games, so taking time to let them know you are in/out is appreciated.
-
Consider coaching. We need more than 60 coaches, so helping as an assistant or head coach is appreciated and vital for the league to function.
Thank you.
