Rumson T-Ball fans were treated to an incredible rendition of The Star Spangled Banner at the 1st Annual T-Ball Season Celebration on Saturday as Grace McOrmond belted out an unforgettable version of the Nation Anthem.

The rising 9th-grader,who is graduating from Forrestdale School, delighted crowds for the second time this week. On Memorial Day, she was joined by fellow vocalists Katie Shapiro and Nora Collard for a heartfelt rendition of God Bless America that attendees are still talking about.

The T-Ball crowd was certainly impressed listening to her confidently kick off our ceremonies. When asked if she gets nervous or if she ever gets pre-performance jitters, the 13 year-old brilliantly explained “ Not stage freight. I just get excited and the adrenaline kicks in”.

With a bright future in performing arts ahead of her, Grace enjoys singing solo and as a member of an ensemble as she stated “I just love to perform as a singer or on stage.” She has been involved with theatre performances and we can expect to see her captivating audience at RFH for years to come. She also credits pop singer and actress Olivia Rodrigo as an inspiration.

With her family in attendance and oozing with pride, she started off a tremendous afternoon. Rumson is blessed to have such a talented and impressive young woman amongst the friendly confines of the 07760. Fans should not be surprised to see her accepting a Grammy in the future as her performance on Saturday was truly…Amazing!
