Rumson, NJ - For #EarthDay, the Rumson Recreation Department teamed up with the Environmental Commission to challenge Rumson residents to take part in the 2021 Earth Day Scavenger Hunt. It's safe to say, our residents came up in a big way!
The scavenger had residents looking for plants, recycling signs, insects, flowers and much more. While the goal was simply to have a little fun and learn about Earth Day, Each of our little hunters found more than 15 items across the Borough.
Some hunters flew solo such as Sean “Superman” Herr, while others such as Kay and Kit Smythe, along with their cousin Thomas Walsh, used the tag-team approach.
While all hunters received a special certificate as well to commend them for a job well done, Many hunters received a special gift card for some delicious treats compliments of Crazees.
It was great to see so many of our young residents participate and show their dedication to Mother Nature.
It should serve as a reminder that we never stop caring about the #environment and doing the right things. We are so proud of our little Environmental Hunters.
