The amazing talents of Rumson and Fair Haven’s rising lacrosse superstars were on display this past Saturday at the legendary Meadow Ridge Center field. The first and second grade girls are really impressing their fans as they learn the fundamentals of lacrosse.
Led by the expertise of long-time instructor (and marathon superstar) Kerry Chandler, the girls have brilliantly learned the game and excelled at it as well. Assisting Chandler have been a plethora of remarkable coaches comprised of some amazing parents as well as some incredible students from RFH and Forrestdale. Under their tutelage, the young athletes have exceeded expectations here in the early portion of the season.
The group can expect to continue their excellence as they work their stations to improve throughout the remainder of the season. Only good things await this talented group; RFHHS Coach O’Keefe can expect a championship caliber team when these girls hit the turf in a few years.
